For the past decade my career has focused on protecting individuals from harassment, discrimination, wrongful termination, and other unfair labor practices. While the law in Texas is generally that this is an “employment at will” state, meaning that an employer can terminate an employee for any reason or no good reason at all, a number of important State and Federal laws make certain types of discrimination, mistreatment, and unfair employment practices illegal.
