After experience in one of the biggest and most prestigious law firms in Texas and six years advising Texas’s Senators and Representatives in the United States Capitol, I returned home to Austin to represent individuals and continue my family’s three-generation commitment to equal access to justice.

I have a proven record of bringing sophisticated and knowledgeable representation to corporate clients at a big law firm and to Texas’s members of Congress in Washington, DC. The Law should belong to everybody, and everybody should have fair access to the Law. You may feel that you lack the power to challenge your employer, an insurance company, or a large corporation, but having an attorney on your side makes up the difference and levels the playing field. I help my clients protect their rights in three main areas:
Employment. I help people who are facing discrimination, harassment, or retaliation based on their race, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender expression, national origin, or other protected characteristic. I also enforce minimum wage and overtime laws against employers who try to shortchange their workers. Finally, I represent employees trying to negotiate a fair contract or severance package.
Personal Injury. I help people who have been seriously harmed in an accident caused by someone else’s negligence. I negotiate with the insurance company to make sure you receive every penny you are entitled to, and am happy to take your case to trial if they refuse to pay what your case is worth.
Your General Counsel. I serve as outside general counsel to individuals, non-profits, and select small businesses who need help complying with various laws and regulations, litigating against a larger company, or navigating a difficult legal problem. With my broad experience, I can either help you answer your question or find the right lawyer who can.
